A proper bike fit allows for optimal performance and
efficiency from your bike and you. It is also essential in injury prevention, and comfort on the bike. It provides the rider with the most economic means of expending energy, and it also helps prevent pain that is common in the knee, hip, and lower back, particularly with riders who are trying to adapt their bodies to the bike they already have purchased.
Having a bike fit at Maison du Velo is a great way to ensure that your bike is set up correctly for your body and riding style. My BikeFit went smoothly and all explained by Paul about what we'd be doing and the expected outcomes. It was all done clearly and there was no attempt to simply upsell.me different things such as saddle, shoe inserts, stem etc. We just worked thru from cleats upwards and the outcome was changes to.cleats, seat height and saddle layback.
My bike just felt more comfortable ...

Had a bike fit with Paul. Fantastic service and well worth the investment. Paul’s understand of physiology makes the fit completely bespoke. Adjusted saddle height, stem length and angle, cleat position. Changes were often counter intuitive but the result is a huge difference to power transfer and comfort.
Everyone in MdV are friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Great coffee is a bonus. Lucky to have them as my local bike shop.

I recently had a bike fit with Paul, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Bike feels so much better since, and even managed to get some PB's! Have already recommended to a local client, who is coming in for a fit soon. Thank you Maison Du Velo!
